Our First Entry!

Good Morning! The first entry in the "official" Donovan blog. I really wanted to start this so much sooner, but for one reason or another it just didn't happen. I hope this is yet another way to help stay in touch with family and friends.....now, on with the blog....

I think I will start by telling you about our pride and joy...Miss Lala (as she is know to her legion of fans). Braila is a wonderful articulate and charismatic 2 1/2 yr old. She really is our everything. Rob and I thought we laughed before, but since Braila has come into our life, she makes us laugh all of the time...its amazing. She has a true combination of Rob and I...her sense of humor is right on the money! Braila is a total gurlie gurl, loves her dollies, playing pretend in her kitchen, and running and laughing. Her favorite thing to play right now (and has been for some time) is puppet show with her vintage little people, or her "guys" as she calls them. Every single day is a new adventure with her, and every morning I wake up, honored to be her mummy.

Rob has been super busy with work. This is the longest we have been in one place in the years we have been together and I must admit, I have really grown to love our home, and the feeling of security that goes along with it. We were hoping to sneak away again in April fro a week away in maybe Cuba, but it won't happen. Target, our Cocker Spaniel had a huge lump removed from his neck the other day and although he is fine, the money that it cost for the surgery was significant...so our trip to the sun will have to wait till Nov! I think thats about it for now...my coffee cup is emplty and its time to get Rob up, I am going to try to keep this updated.....you know with all of the exciting details of our lives....love to all
